Wedding Showers Shared with Good Friends

I have the coolest friends. Here's one response to the shower invitation. Her son's wedding is the week before.

For the bride’s shower
You chose the perfect date
Our wedding will be over -
Still lots to celebrate.
We will dress in our finest
When we come for the fun

Good food and friends
To celebrate your son.
This is my reply –
Couldn’t you guess?
I’ll see you at noon,
The answer is ‘yes’
.
